Network Pre-Sales Engineer

Network Pre-Sales Engineer Headtechnology OU is a Value-Added Distributor of Network and Cybersecurity technologies in 28 countries of CEE, the Baltics, Turkey, Central Asia, and the Caucasus. We open new markets for innovative solutions from the world's leading vendors and help organizations to be compliant and effectively protect against cyber risks and threats. We are expanding the Headtechnology team and are looking for an experienced networking professional with strong technical expertise and leadership qualities to support sales and business development across Central Asia. In this role, you will represent a leading networking technology vendor as a technical expert, working directly with customers and partners to understand their requirements, design and recommend appropriate network solutions, deliver technical presentations, and demonstrate the value and competitive advantages of the technology. We are looking for a proactive, self-driven professional who can independently lead technical discussions, build trust with customers and partners, and contribute to the growth of our networking business in the region. Your responsibilities will be: • Meet with prospective customers, understand requirements, field technical questions, and demonstrate capabilities. • Participate in sales conference calls and prospect visits, providing product demonstrations in person and remotely, and working with prospects at both a technical and business level to show how a solution can provide value to them. • Participate as a technical resource at trade shows and conferences, when needed. • Developing network architectures and selecting equipment to meet client requirements. • Participating in pilot projects (PoC) and preparing technical specifications and tender documentation. We expect from you: • A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline • 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or a related position • Strong knowledge of network and network security • Experience in Linux/UNIX Windows Servers administration • Knowledge and hands-on experience in troubleshooting, monitoring, and managing IT networks • Knowledge of virtualization technologies, such as VMware VSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V • Experience understanding protocols, such as SSL/TLS, CIFS, HTTP/S, DHCP, SMTP, LDAP/S, NFS, SNMP, and DNS • Knowledge of Microsoft AD, Kerberos, LDAP, SSO, SAML, SNMP • Knowledge of switching technologies: VLAN, RSTP/MSTP/RPVST MLAG, LACP, BPDU Filter, BPDU Guard, Port-security, L2-ACL, mac filtering, isolated vlan/port, SPAN, IP Source Guard, VXLAN • Experience in networking concepts and services, such as VPN, PKI, and TCP/IP • Familiarity with programming and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) • Experience working with Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet equipment • Strong communication skills • English level – intermediate • Network certifications (CCNA, CCNP, NSE4/NSE7, PCNSE etc.) • Technical documentation writing skills • Experience in building and maintaining corporate networks, Data Centers will be a plus • Strong understanding of information security technologies, concepts, and techniques will be a plus
