We are looking for a **Middle/Middle+ DevOps Engineer** for an outstaff project, focused on building a global video streaming provider. **Project Description:** We are searching for a DevOps Engineer to join a large-scale digital media streaming platform. The project includes supporting the transition from a Docker-based setup to Kubernetes and maintaining automation pipelines. The specialist will collaborate with an existing DevOps Engineer and help ensure platform stability, scalability, and reliability. **Requirements (Must have):** • 2-3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or SRE, with hands-on responsibility for production systems in on-prem environments. • Strong Linux (Enterprise) a • Solid networking and security fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, TLS, certificates, VPN, firewalls. • Strong Docker knowledge (image building, optimisation, security) and experience with Docker Compose. • Production experience with Kubernetes on-prem: deployments, services, ingresses, secrets/ConfigMaps, Helm (or similar), basic understanding of Kubernetes networking and load balancing. • Experience configuring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI or similar), including runners, container registries and automated build/deploy workflows. • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Ansible, plus scripting in Bash and/or Python for automation and tooling. • Practical PostgreSQL operations experience: installation, configuration, backups/restore and basic performance tuning. • Experience setting up and using monitoring and logging: Prometheus, Grafana and at least one centralised logging stack (ELK/EFK or equivalent). • Clear, structured communication and ability to take ownership, including during high-pressure incidents. **Nice to Have**: • Experience with RPM packaging and internal repositories. • Advanced Linux hardening (SELinux, firewalld) beyond basic setup. • Experience configuring nginx as reverse proxy / load balancer.
